Puw alternatives, compared honestly

Puw is narrow on purpose: it re-lights photographs of real places and real products without changing what is in them. That makes it the wrong answer for a lot of jobs, and these pages say which ones rather than pretending otherwise.

Head to head

The rest of the landscape

Tools we have not written a full comparison for yet, and where each one genuinely fits better than we do.

Autoenhance.ai, AutoHDR

Built around a property photographer's RAW and bracketed-exposure workflow. If you shoot on a tripod and merge brackets, they fit that better than Puw does.

BoxBrownie, Styldod

Human editing services with per-image pricing — US$2 an image for enhancement at BoxBrownie, US$30 for virtual staging. Worth buying when a person's judgement on a flagship listing is what you actually want.

Photoroom, Claid, Pixelbin

Strong on cutouts, background replacement and API-driven catalogue pipelines. Puw has no cutout or transparent-PNG export at all, so for a true white-background marketplace shot you need one of these too.

Prices and capabilities change. Where a figure appears on a comparison page it carries its source and the date it was read; the source is the authority, not us. All names and trademarks belong to their owners.
