Booking.com will not display a photo under 300 × 300 px, asks for at least 1280 × 900, targets 2048 × 1080 and prefers 4000 × 3000. A Puw render comes back at 4K, above the preferred size, from a photo you took on a phone about twenty seconds earlier.
Booking.com is unusual in publishing a ladder rather than a single limit, and the ladder is the useful part: there is a hard floor below which a photo is simply not shown, and then a much higher bar that separates a property that looks maintained from one that looks like it was photographed in a hurry. Most small properties clear the floor comfortably and never get near the top of the ladder, because the constraint is not the camera in their pocket — it is the lighting in a room that was built for sleeping in rather than for photographing.

Will re-lit photos get rejected?
Re-lighting a real photograph is ordinary post-processing. What causes problems is a photo that does not match the room — so keep property work on Precise, which changes light and colour without moving or adding anything.
