Puw for Amazon
Photos for Amazon listings, honestly scoped
Amazon requires the main image on a pure white background with the product filling 85% of the frame. Puw re-lights a scene rather than cutting a product out of one, so it cannot make that image. Everything after the main image is where it earns its place.
This is the one platform page on this site that starts by telling you what we cannot do, because the alternative is you paying for something that will not solve your problem. Amazon rejects a main image whose background is off-white or grey, and producing pure white with a clean edge is a cutout job — a different operation from re-lighting a photograph of a real scene. What Amazon also wants, and what most sellers never supply, is five or six further images showing scale, texture, packaging and the product in use. Those are photographs of real scenes, and that is exactly what Puw is for.

Amazon is the one platform here where Puw cannot get you all the way: the main image needs a pure white background, and Puw re-lights a scene rather than cutting a product out of it. Secondary images — in use, scale, texture, packaging — are where it earns its place.

What actually moves the needle here
The main image is a cutout job
Pure white RGB 255,255,255, no props, no text, no borders. Use a background remover for this one. Puw does not do it and will not pretend to.
Images two through seven are the sale
Scale, texture, in use, what is in the box, packaging. Real scenes, real lighting — and where most listings simply stop.
Zoom is a conversion feature
Amazon prefers over 1000 px on the longest side and recommends 1600 px or more so zoom works. A 4K render clears both comfortably.
Text in a photo is a rejection risk
The main image must carry no text, logos or watermarks. On secondary images, printed packaging text is preserved exactly rather than redrawn.
Drop one or many — they all render at the same time, each with its own mode and notes.

Questions people ask.
Can Puw make my Amazon main image?
No. The main image needs a pure white background with a clean cutout edge, and Puw re-lights the scene a product is in rather than extracting it. Use a dedicated background remover for that image, and Puw for the rest.
What size do Amazon images need to be?
At least 1000 px on the longest side, with 1600 px or more recommended so the zoom feature works. Renders come back at 4K, well above both.
Will packaging text survive on secondary images?
Yes — printed text and logos are held fixed through the render. On a marketplace an altered weight or model number is a compliance problem, not just a cosmetic one.
How many images should a listing have?
Amazon recommends at least six images and a video. Most sellers upload two. That gap is the cheapest win available on the platform.
